"Doomsday"

Heh, what the chances that I make an animation called doomsday, and then a movie comes out called "Doomsday." I hope its not the same idea or story or that is just... weird how that work out.
In any case, I heard everyone at my school saying that there is already a movie called doomsday, so this is not to copyright them or whatever. I did this idea way back last summer, and I bet theres lots of other movies/shows that are named "Doomsday." I'll just have to come up with a more original name for my animation if I ever get back to it again. XD

I'm going to try small animations first, but I suddenly have this urge to try and do tradition animation since I do what to get into Sheridan College, so it would be early practice :D, and after all, I do have the stuff to do it. So I'm going to give that a shot whenever I get to it, or figure out something that I can animate at first XD. For example: A bouncing ball? or a person walking/running. Just something to try instead of computer animation.

Well that is all I have to say in this blog, just felt like updating here. Also, I think I may make another blog just for person things like this telling about everything I do sort of. Well, later days!

Doomsday 2008

Well its 2008 and Doomsday is still on the works, and right now I have a small break.
Durring this break I took time to work on Zack some more, the body and everything... but something doesn't look quite right, but for now this is his new super look.

Now the rest of the blog is just going to be qouted from my dA blog.

"Yesssssss, I get this whole week off from school!!!! Thanks for only having one exam.

So yeah, because I have this little break off, I'm going to do as much work as I can. To start up "Doomsday" and see what I can finish in a week. If everything goes like planned, I'll have the storyboards and the voice overs done by this week, maybe even have the storyboard animated a little. So I may even have a small demo (preview) I could make of it!!!!

I'm so hyper right now, this will be my first animation that is longer then 50 seconds. I've been thinking of this idea since summer school, I'm not letting it just leave my head like my other idea's I've been planning to do. I'm even now asking if anyone here wants to help out.

Here are a few things I would need major help with, if anyone is interested.

1. I'm not so well with my colours lately, so I just want to get other people's opinions on my character designs
   
2. If anyone knows where I can get some free "uncopyrighted music" that would help, or if theres someone who can help make music that would be even greater!
   
3. If your a person who can keep things in from anyone else, I would let some people look at the story and see if they have anything they like to add. Downside, you know the story when you watch it. But, some people may not mind.
   
4. Just ideas and opinions are great, they'll help me big time for creating this.
   

I don't know many people around here so its limited for me, but any help is great help. Oh and I almost forgot, if you help me your name will go in it at the end, I have to give credit to ya guys and gals... even though its not much, its the best I can do right now.

Small update - Dec 19 07

Hey everyone, I can;t belive how late this is still going. Everything I plan is great, I just need more time to still do a lot of work, on the plus side I have been working on other shorts to practice using "Anime Studio 5" and I think I'm getting better at it, not super but great enough to wow some people in 2D.

So anyways, I came here because I just found this link again, and just yesterday I did a background image (280x1024). I'll try and get it for other screens so other people can use it, I'll also have to get a download link for it, unless it works here then everything is fine.

Well untill I get working on this animation, don't expect to hear much from me.

ZACK-Y

Well I had some free time and got Zack drawn... Well at least his head is fully drawn. But even his head may change, or at least his hat, I'm having such a hard time choosing the right colours for it, nothing seems to match. So anyways I may change something yet, but for now here is Zack head's, in this order too! (make sure you go to left to right)

Great new, I just finish the script, and you know what that means...well it means more work to come, but now I can get the voices and practice the lines with everybody since I'm the only one who knows what I really want them to sound like, but then after that is animating it (the longest part). Because I have the script done right now, I can now play around with the software before school starts, did I mention that is only 3 more days until school starts.

Anyways, School shouldn't be a drag this time since this will be my second year in a same high school, NO MOVING! and also there will be co-op which will make this year very interesting! I could still get Animation or Graphic Designer!

Updates for the last week of Augest

Well... I was hoping to get the script done when I started it... but it looks like I was busy enough that it took me about a month to do, I feel so sorry for John though because I promise I would get the script done fast so he could make some of the music and also be one of the characters in the show (which I should be finding out very soon)

Also today I got the software! hooray for me! now I can post any work I've done and add neato effects XD and lip sync is really getting easy so theres no troubles there either (yet it is the longest part to do right now) and I'm still working on the bones of my character, but it will come. Finally, the other last main things I have to work on (before school starts) is make different characters, the funny thing is, if I do a Marty mole animation there will probably some of the same characters in it, so yeah its funny to me XD.

Anyways production seems to be going swell, no one has drop out or given up on me (I have to hope I don't because I'm running the whole thing here). My plan is to finish this before my birthday or Christmas since then, I can show it to my family, and all my friends the final project.

So thats all new for now since I've haven't updated here for a while (no I'm not forgetting ya guys)

Well starting very soon, I'm going to be with my Girlfriend Amanda for the rest of this week so there won't be any updates this week, but expect maybe some new stuff after this week if I'm not going anywhere soon again, anyways for a quick update for whats going on and how far I am.

First off, the script for the animation is almost done, I've been really lacking on that lately, but I've almost got it done, I almost have voice for all the characters and my full software should be coming by the end of this week, there was a delay the first time.

So that's what happening so far and will be all until the next update, see ya later bloggers!

Work so far

So this weekend I've been a little slow working on the script and everything for the animation, but I'm starting to get back into it, so far I've create what the boy character is going to look, since when I first made him he was going to be just as smart as Amara but that seem really boring.
So now that I change him, I had to change his look, but... I'm having some trouble with the colours, but I think I have it figure out, give it a check!

Here is the first verson(left) I did of him. I thought the red was a little too bright and really makes you eyes look at his hat then

anything else, so then thats why I made this verson, but I don't think the shadowing and lighting will be in the real animation, unless I figure out how to do it. Here is the second verson...(right)

Welcome Everyone!

Welcome Visitors, This is my first blog, but not just a normal blog, its a blog of what I'm doing everyday with an animation project I'm working on!
Don't expect a fabulous result of it, but good enough to enjoy for the most part. Now, I've already started a bit of work, but I am having some slow downs which is one other reason I'm posting here, because I need help.
I could use help with backgrounds or maybe some crazy funny ideas for this animation (since I'm a little bad at making stories) anyways if someone is willing to do this for free it would really help, and your name (or whatever you want to be shown) will be in the animation at the end.

Anyways I'm typing up the story today and I'll show some of the characters I've design for this hopefully by today or tomorrow, so check for any updates I may come up with.
